Karen Harwod

Adjunct Professor of Oboe

Karen Harwood has held positions in the NorthWinds (GA), Tara Winds (GA), Washington Symphony Orchestra (D.C.), Pan American Symphony Orchestra (VA), and the Capitol Winds (VA). A native of Toccoa, Georgia Mrs. Harwood completed her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Georgia. Further studies led to a Master of Music in oboe performance from Kent State University. Her oboe teachers include Jeffery Rathbun, Daniel Stolper, Dwight Manning, Timothy Clinch, and Dr. John Corina.
