NGCSU named to Kiplinger's 100 best values list

For the third year, North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) has been named to Kiplinger's Personal Finance's list of 100 best values in public colleges in the nation. The 2012-13 ranking cites four-year schools that combine outstanding education with economic value.

As the formal consolidation of Gainesville State College (GSC) and North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) nears, plans are underway for campus-based events on Jan. 10 to mark the beginning of a new era as the schools become the University of North Georgia. The consolidation is set to be ratified two days earlier by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG).
