Making An Appointment

Simply call 706-864-1819 or stop by the office in the Stewart Center Suite 246 to set up a meeting time. It is our policy to schedule and see students as quickly as possible. Many first-time appointments are scheduled within the same week. Keep in mind, however, that wait times can vary. If an emergency involves imminent risk to yourself or someone else, call 911 immediately.

If it is your first appointment with Student Counseling, plan to arrive a few minutes early so you may complete a brief intake screening form and read and sign the consent for treatment agreement.

Please know that if you are late for your session, the session will still end on time. Please contact the office to cancel if you will be unable to make your appointment so that someone else may have use the time slot.
