Annual Leave

Sick Leave - Full-time benefits-eligible employees earn 8 hours of sick leave per month. Benefits-eligible part-time employees will accumulate sick leave in an equivalent ratio to their percentage of time employed.

Vacation - Regular (9-month) faculty members do not accrue vacation time. 12-month faculty members and other benefits-eligible employees are entitled to vacation time as follows:

Earned vacation may be accrued up to a maximum of 45 working days. Employees are compensated for all accrued vacation time upon termination of service from the University System of Georgia.

Earned vacation must be taken at times mutually acceptable to the employee and the immediate supervisor.
