Applying to the Teacher Education Program

Students will remain as Pre-Education and be guided by the Coordinator of Student Advisement until they have earned 40 hours credit (middle grades) or 60 hours credit (ECE).  Once they have reached the required number of earned hours and met other requirements, students may then apply for admission to the Teacher Education Program.  All requirements and application process information are located on the Teacher Education web site:  http://www.northgeorgia.edu/teadmissions/

Students not admitted into the program due to not having completed all requirements will continue to schedule regular meetings with the coordinator to discuss courses of action that may lead to admission into one of the teaching programs or to the selection of a different major.

See Teacher Education web site for more details.
