PRAXIS
Praxis I:
Academic Skills Assessments is a three-part test consisting of reading, mathematics, and writing skills with each part of the test being one hour long. The test may be required before a student can be admitted to the Education Program. Praxis I is given six times a year. Registration forms and fees are due to ETS approximately one month before the proposed testing date. Applications and information on the test fees are available online at http://www.ets.org/praxis.
Praxis II:
Praxis II consists of Subject Assessments and Specialty Area Tests. Passing the appropriate test (s) is required for teacher certification. Praxis II is given six times a year. Registration forms and fees are due to ETS approximately one month before the proposed testing date. Fee for the tests vary. Applications and information are available online at http://www.ets.org/praxis
