Research/Special Interests
My research interests are varied but always ecological in context. My primary interest is vertebrate zoology and herpetology in particular, but my research collaborations with colleagues and undergraduate students have been varied. Collaborations include investigations on prey capture in pitcher plants, drift periodicity in stream insects, aspects of plant chemical defense, gall formation in goldenrods, effects of riparian disturbance on fish life history parameters, and pollinator attraction in aroid plants.
