The answers may surprise you! We invite you to discover Appalachian culture through its art, history, music, and nature at NGCSU's Georgia Appalachian Studies Center, sponsored by the School of Education. The state's official center for the study of Appalachia as designated by the Georgia General Assembly is located on the campus of North Georgia College & State University in the Historic Vickery House in Dahlonega, Georgia.
