Domain Statement: The Service Desk provides support services which enhance customers’ use of technology at North Georgia.
Examples: Over-the-phone support, catalog sales, technology quotes, remote support, brokering repair, help ticketing and customer service follow-ups, student computer repair, faculty staff personal computer repair, and end user / internal IT related training.

IT Technical Support Services: Fast, dependable, customer-oriented advanced support, troubleshooting and on-site repairs.

Domain Statement: The Technician Team provides technical support to the campus and other IT teams as the ‘eyes and hands in the field’.
Examples:
Computer deployment & subcontracted repair, printer deployment, point-of-sale system support, presentation support, classroom support, lab setup, maintenance and repair; Installs and maintains Video Conferencing systems, installs and supports audio visual equipment, setup for special events.

IT Engineering: Innovative, effective, customer-oriented platforms and technologies for anytime, anywhere, always-on university services, systems, and processes.

Domain Statement: The Engineering Team provides products and services which require in-depth engineering expertise in the design of solutions based on IT platforms and tools.
Examples: Server, Desktop and mobile platforms, productivity tools, Databases, Content Management, Telecom, card services; new solutions, repairs, upgrades/enhancements, expert time and production support.

IT Application Development: Agile, user-friendly, efficient web, desktop, and mobile application development to enhance university services and processes for all users.

Domain Statement: The Application Development team provides services which require in-depth engineering and application development experience.
Examples: Web & mobile applications, Banner apps, forms, reports, online applications; GUI/Web interface design and implementation for server-based and web-based apps; automation of processes.

IT Infrastructure Services: Robust, reliable, secure, highly available, and customer-focused infrastructure services from classroom technology & labs to 24x7 networking, storage, and servers.  

Domain Statement: The Infrastructure team provides any “mass market” services which are based on IT systems or client hardware maintained by IT, and any services based on in depth expertise in operating the organization’s products.

Wireless and Wired Networks, Servers, Labs, Classrooms, Phone Systems, backup/storage, printing; Hosting services, including rack space, server space, storage, monitoring and reset service.

Information Security: Proactive security monitoring and coordination across IT and quick, effective incident response across the university for information security, privacy, and risk management.

Domain Statement: Information Security provides services requiring in-depth expertise in threats to the safety of information and information technologies.
Examples:
Includes expertise in recognizing, testing/analyzing, communicating, monitoring and mitigating threats.
