Attention new North Georgia students!

Within a week of your acceptance at NGCSU you will be provided with a campus email username. This username and password is also used to log into all computers on campus, as well as eLearning (D2L). The username and password follow a basic structure:

• Username - Your first initial, middle initial, first 4 letters of your last name, last 4 numbers of your student (900) number.
• Password: Last four digits of Social Security Number plus two-digit day of your birthday.  Enter a 0 as the first digit of your day of birth if you were born on a day between the first and the ninth.  Enter four zeroes if you did not provide your SSN to the university.
  
  NOTE: If you are a new student for Summer semester, your password will follow the following format: s!DDMMYY
  Example, if your birthday is August 5^th, 1990, you would use s!050890

Graduating? Leaving North Georgia?

To ensure a smooth transition, you can still use your North Georgia email account for up to 12 months after leaving North Georgia. However, after that time your email account will be disabled and you can no longer access or receive emails at your North Georgia account. 18 months after the end of your last enrolled term your account (including all emails and stored files) will be deleted. Keep this in mind especially when applying for jobs. You may wish to provide them with an off-campus email address. Also, be sure to notify friends of your new email address as well as change it in any online services you may have signed up for.
