Why would I want to do that?

If you have content that is password-protected or you wish to give access to only through a specific link, then you don't want your content to show up in Google or Ektron searches.

1. Log into Ektron.
2. Go to the Work Area.
3. Click on the Content tab.
4. Go to the folder where your content resides.
5. Click on the piece of content.
6. At the top click on the icon for Properties.
7. Uncheck the box for "Searchable."
8. Click the floppy disk icon to save.
