Teacher Education Exhibit Room

The School of Education is pleased to welcome you to the accreditation exhibit room for the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GA-PSC) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

North Georgia College and State University has enjoyed a long and rich history of preparing educational professionals to work in public school systems.  We value and respect the accreditation process as it provides the unit and its programs with an opportunity to engage in serious self-study, reflection and development. Our goal is to continue to grow as a unit and continue to improve our candidate performance and, subsequently improve student learning and enhance the learning environment in the P-12 school systems.
